Artist Trading Cards

Artist Trading Cards (ATC's) are a small work of individual art fashioned on a 2.5 inch by 3.5 inch trading card. This is the standard size design rule. Each card is unique and may be designed with various materials as preferred by the Artist who created it. Artist Trading Cards are usually signed and dated by the Artist on the back also listing contact information.

When collecting Artist Trading Cards it is the normal custom to acquire the cards by trading instead of purchasing. Thus the name “Artist Trading Cards”. They have Trade Shows across the country for the sole purpose of meeting and trading cards face-to-face. Now with the freedom of the internet to travel beyond our limited spaces we can trade online and exchange cards by mail. This is a good option for those who are not located near an Artist Trading Cards Show.

Many artist now create Artist Cards to sell. These are known as Art Cards Editions and Originals or ACEO's.
